PLUMS AND MIRABELLES

Growth:

Medium to vigorous growth, with upright side shoots.

Ripening time:

Mid to late August, ripening subsequently

Look:

Golden-yellow, often also greenish, round fruits measuring 32 to 35 mm.

Quality:

Yellow, firm flesh with good stone solubility.

Taste:

Sweet, with a very strong plum aroma.

Yield:

Good, but alternating between full yield and medium harvest quantities

Special notes:

Very robust, stable, and hazel-tolerant trees

Primarily recommended for distillation. Good yield with repeated picking or shaking. Produces very flavorful brandies.

Also suitable for cakes and fruit spreads.
