APPLE
Schweizer Glockenapfel

Fruit:
Medium to large, unevenly shaped (bell-shaped). Whitish-yellow apple, with varying degrees of reddening.
Tree:
Round crown with drooping long shoots. Vigorous growth when young, later declining.
Yield:
Good, but fluctuating between high and low yields.
Susceptibility:
Somewhat susceptible to scab, low susceptibility to fire blight and powdery mildew.
Ripening time:
Late variety, suitable for storage until March/April
Recommendation:
An excellent storage apple for all uses. Also suitable for eating fresh and for baking.
