Fruit:
Large to very large, often around 250 g. Yellow apple with a red blush and heavy, widespread russeting. Tart with a sufficiently sweet and robust aroma.
Tree:
Vigorous to very vigorous growth, from youth to old age. Broad, flat-topped crowns with attractive branching.
Yield:
Late, then usually regular. Alternating yield at full yield.
Susceptibility:
Resilient due to its strong growth. Also suitable for higher altitudes.
Ripening time:
September, can be stored for 5 months
Recommendation:
A highly sought-after, vigorous apple for traditional orchards. Excellent baking apple.
