Loch Ness

Also known as Nessy, this thornless blackberry has a vigorous growth habit. It is somewhat susceptible to frost and downy mildew. The berries are very large, elongated, glossy, and firm. They have an excellent flavor when fully ripe. This is a primary variety for commercial and home gardens. It is versatile and can be used for liqueurs, juices, and jams. It ripens at the end of July.
