Growth:
Vigorous growth with strong, upward-reaching main branches. Large crowns.
Blossom:
Late-flowering, self-fertile
Ripening time:
Late August to mid-September
Look:
Blue, roundish fruits with a strong fragrance. Size 30 to 34 mm.
Quality:
Firm, golden-yellow flesh, stones easily removable
Taste:
Very good, moderately juicy with a pronounced plum aroma.
Yield:
Starting late, then usually regular.
Special notes:
The best-known German variety, but it yields later and is susceptible to plum pox virus.
Otherwise, a stable tree for home gardens and enthusiasts.
